John Scardino has worked in fitness and strength and conditioning his entire adult life. He grew up in Poland, Ohio where he lettered in football and track and field.
During his senior year at Poland Seminary High School, he earned All-State honors in track and field as a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team. After high school he moved on to Mount Union University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
His passion for competition and training led him next to the Cradle of Coaches, Miami University of Ohio in Oxford for his graduate work. He received his Master’s of Science Degree in Sports Studies from Miami, with a dual concentration in Sport Behavior and Performance and Exercise Science.
Since 2000, he has owned and operated Success Stories Fitness, a personal training and strength and conditioning company in Broadview Heights, Ohio. In these 20 years, he has facilitated an estimated 20,000 client training sessions. In recent years he has collaborated with John Collis and CSI Athlete, working as an integral member of a world class strength and conditioning team.
